Perfil de los usuarios del servicio del transporte de pasajeros: Taxis y Vehículos de Transporte con Conductor (VTC) en España tras la pandemia del COVID-19

Resumen

Los consumidores del servicio del transporte de viajeros en vehículos de turismo vieron afectados sus hábitos de consumo durante el tiempo de pandemia de COVID-19 en España. La presente investigación establece las preferencias de consumo y genera un perfil del usuario diferenciado entre consumidores del taxi o del vehículo de transporte con conductor (VTC). La metodología aplicada utiliza análisis estadísticos cuantitativos y análisis de correspondencias múltiples sobre los resultados de una encuesta con muestreo intencional no probabilístico significativo. A través de estos análisis se ha aproximado los perfiles de los diferentes usuarios a las soluciones de movilidad preferidas. Los resultados destacan la predisposición de los ciudadanos por la utilización del vehículo privado frente a medios de transporte públicos, seguidos por el taxi y el VTC. También se constata el amplio porcentaje de usuarios que han utilizado el servicio del taxi y el VTC en el último año. El análisis de correspondencias múltiple permite diferenciar aquellos usuarios que prefieren utilizar el taxi, el VTC o que, por el contrario, no tienen una preferencia clara. Se concluye, que los usuarios trabajadores por cuenta propia, por cuenta ajena y las personas de mayor edad tienden a utilizar el taxi. Los estudiantes y las personas con menor edad prefieren el VTC. Finalmente, encontramos usuarios de ambos subconjuntos que han utilizado el servicio en algún momento en un periodo anual.
