Tendencias y colaboraciones de tecnologías ambientales en América Latina y El Caribe

Resumen

El presente estudio analiza el estado actual de la investigación en tecnologías ambientales y ecoinnovación en América Latina y el Caribe, utilizando un enfoque bibliométrico que examina la colaboración internacional, la productividad científica y el impacto de las publicaciones. La investigación se desarrolló en tres etapas clave. En primer lugar, se recopiló información bibliográfica exhaustiva a partir de las bases de datos Web of Science y Scopus, asegurando una cobertura completa y actualizada. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis bibliométrico avanzado empleando herramientas en R, como Bibliometrix y técnicas de Machine Learning (LDA), para identificar tendencias, actores clave y patrones de productividad. Finalmente, se visualizó la información mediante VOSviewer, lo que facilitó la interpretación de las dinámicas de colaboración y las áreas de investigación más relevantes. Los hallazgos principales destacan un crecimiento sostenido en la producción científica, liderado por Brasil, así como diferencias significativas en la colaboración internacional e impacto de las investigaciones en la región. Estas conclusiones ofrecen un marco integral para diseñar estrategias que fortalezcan las capacidades investigativas y promuevan el desarrollo de soluciones sostenibles en América Latina y el Caribe.
